WELCOME TO OUR 2026 FOCUS COOKING CAMP!

We are thrilled to celebrate our 11th year partnering with Mr. Baron from Gusta Cooking Studio to bring you an engaging, hands-on culinary experience. Our cooking camp is designed to help young chefs build confidence in the kitchen while exploring new foods, learning essential skills, and having fun in a supportive, structured environment.

What You’ll Learn & Do

Basic Cooking Techniques: Age-appropriate knife skills, measuring, mixing, sautéing, and baking
Recipe Mastery: Reading, understanding, and preparing recipes from scratch
Kitchen Safety: Proper sanitation, safe tool use (plastic knives, pizza cutters), and overall kitchen awareness
Nutrition & Flavor: Exploring food groups, flavor pairing, and healthy meal choices
Cultural Exploration: Discovering cuisines and dishes from around the world
Creative Cooking Projects: Pasta, muffins, pizzas, breakfast wraps, and other exciting culinary creations

Camp Structure & Environment

  • Hands-On Learning: Campers actively cook, measure, mix, and create—not just observe

  • Professional Instruction: Guided by experienced chef and educator

  • Life Skills Development: Independence, teamwork, problem-solving, responsibility, and cleaning up

Important Notes:

  • Lunch and afternoon snacks will be included, one cooking class @Gusta Cooking Studio included

Camp Hours:

  • Full Day: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

    • Free early drop-off: 8:45 – 9:00 AM

  • Extended Hours:

    • Morning: 7:45 – 8:45 AM

    • Afternoon: 4:00 – 6:00 PM
      (Extended care available for an additional fee)

Camp Fees

  • Full Week (5 days): $400+HST

  • Early Bird Discount: 5% off full-week registration(Available until April 30th, 2026)

  • Silbings/Friends Discount: Register together and get 5% off discount for each student full-week registration only Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
